Connecting the villas to the main resort areas, the extensive wooden walkways were a critical part of the renovation. We restored and treated the timber decking to withstand the tropical humidity, ensuring safe, durable, and aesthetically pleasing circulation paths that weave through the mature trees.
We upgraded the private pool villas to meet contemporary standards. This included re-tiling the swimming pools, restoring the exterior privacy walls, and updating the villa facades. The integration of the iconic X2 signage and modern lighting breathes new energy into the guest experience.
The main lobby received a complete fit-out. We installed extensive floor-to-ceiling shelving and bespoke joinery to display local artifacts. The renovation opened up the space, using natural tones and textures to create a welcoming, airy atmosphere for arriving guests.
We transformed the bar area into a vibrant focal point. The upgrade featured the installation of backlit wooden slats and a stone counter, creating a warm, amber-hued ambience. This lighting design highlights the texture of the materials and sets the mood for evening entertainment.
